In the keynote presentation Philip Russom will:
• Explain the difference between a DW Appliance and a traditional DW
• Discuss the emergence, current state, and likely evolution of the DW Appliance market
• Compare typical implementation and maintenance costs of a DW Appliance versus a traditional DW solution.
• Discuss pitfalls and best practices of DW Appliance implementations
The panel will discuss questions posed by the moderator and attendees about the present state of Data Warehouse Appliances and how they see these hardware/software bundles developing over the next several years.
